🎬 Hōʻike’s Youth iPad Video Bootcamp — Student PSAs Premiere!Hōʻike’s first-ever Youth iPad Video Production Bootcamp wrapped up in style last week with a special visit from Mayor Derek Kawakami and representatives from Spectrum! 🌺 Over three exciting days, middle and high school students learned to plan, film, and edit their own Public Service Announcements (PSAs) — all using iPads provided by Hōʻike. From storyboarding to filming to final edits, these young creators took full control of the process, building real-world media production skills while working with local nonprofit partners. We’re thrilled to share the amazing PSAs they created! 🙌
Two student teams took on unique community stories — one filming at Hale Līhuʻe and the other at the Kauaʻi Museum.
